Russia to ban exports of ammonium nitrate for 2 months
MOSCOW, Feb 1 (PRIME) -- Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a ruling to ban exports of ammonium nitrate for two months from Wednesday until April 2 ahead of spring sowing and to ensure uninterrupted industry operations, the government said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The two-month ban on exports of ammonium nitrate will come in force from Wednesday. The ruing was been signed,” the statement read.
Demand for mineral fertilizers increased as spring came early to some regions in the south and Northern Caucasus.
